May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an important period dedicated to raising awareness, advocating for support and reducing stigma (shame) surrounding mental health issues. Throughout this month, communities, organizations and individuals come together to promote understanding, compassion and access to resources for mental wellbeing. The significance of Mental Health Awareness Month serves as a platform to initiate conversations, share personal experiences, and highlight the importance of seeking help when needed. May aims to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for those struggling with mental health challenges. Caring for our mental health emphasizes the need for self care and practicing healthy coping mechanisms. It encourages individuals to prioritize activities that promote mental wellness, such as exercise, mindfulness, creative expression and most importantly, maintaining social connections. By encouraging a culture of self care and resilience, May empowers individuals to take proactive steps towards improving their mental health. L.O.V.E United wants us to come together as a community to raise awareness and advocate for change. Collectively we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive mentally, emotionally and socially. Part of our mission is to provide a safe space for all women. Together, we can break the silence and heal. If you, or anyone else are struggling, mentally you can ALWAYS send us a DM and we will respond back or for more resources please utilize one of the following links: 💚💚💚
